Who are we?

Tushinde passionately believes that the best place for a child is growing up in a safe, stable  and nurturing environment  with their own family. We work with families in crisis to make sure this happens.  Tushinde Children’s Trust was registered as an NGO in Kenya in March 2011. We work with vulnerable families in the informal settlements of Mathare and Kiambiu.

We are a ‘Child Safe’ employer and we take safeguarding seriously across all areas of our work. All staff must expect to have a police check and extensive background checks prior to employment.

What would you be doing?

The Finance and Operations Manager will assist in developing and delivering the strategic vision for the organisation.

He or she  will work alongside a passionate, professional and supportive team to help deliver the Tushinde family support programs.

What is Tushinde looking for?

Ideally, applicants should have 3 years’ experience in a  similar role and have an honors degree, minimum, in a related subject  and a financial qualification.

Applicants should have experience of supervising a team of qualified professionals and serving the public.
